What it does
Connected Fleet is a fleet management platform built and run by IO Systems. It works in the browser, with a native field app for iOS and Android.
We supply and fit telematics devices on order, and existing hardware can be brought across. Vehicles without a device still carry their full record, register and forms, so a mixed fleet works in one place.
Add a vehicle by scanning its licence disc
Scan the RSA motor vehicle licence disc with a webcam, phone or USB scanner. Name, plate, VIN, licence number, make, model, engine number, body type and expiry are captured in one step.
Service intervals on distance or engine hours
A delivery van can run on kilometres and a forklift on hours, in the same register.
Sessions, events and playback
Trips are recorded automatically with distance, duration and top speed. Events such as ignition, unplug and crash detection are grouped by type. Any session can be replayed on a street or satellite map at up to 8x, with the route coloured by speed band.
Readings you can act on
Every monitored value shows how old the reading is, so you know whether to act on the number or phone the driver first.
How it fits your operation
Roughly fifty data points are available, and our team configures which ones each deployment pulls. Roles control what a person can do; groups control what they can see.
Connected Fleet can carry your colours, logos and wording through a theme pack. That is configuration, not a separate codebase.
Every screen has in-app help carrying the same screen ID our support team sees.
